the above story indicates that the managers are not professionals
and companies lack strong fundamentals about: labor laws, labor
relations, human rights, fair trade, long-term business objectives etc.

thus, gov (china) has to be on top of these things:

a. the gov needs to gather all the CEO's of china companies
doing biz in africa and outline like 10 top principles that they
must follow!

b. companies must also send managers with at least an MBA - this prevents
any kinds of incidents mentioned in the story.

c. china (gov) must also send ombudsmen to each country
and gather info about companies biz activities in africa.

d. the african gov's must also take better care of their ppl
by asking china (gov) and companies to respect labor laws, human rights etc.
