I think it is just an irony that the building that reinforce the Chinese claim isn't Chinese style architecture. Btw, I think your understanding of "Chinese style building" is kinda outdated. Even Chinese style architecture has evolved in application. There are new modern Chinese architecture. I do agree that the islands need to have more bunkers.
