Friend of mine who's an engineer at Lenovo Shanghai said they conducted extensive radiation tests on jap-made components when fukushima blew. Other Chinese brands use jap parts too espeically for high-end models. I got an unpleasant surprise when I toured a PLAN ship to find the control console was made by Hitachi. Calls to boycott jap goods must be met and exceeded by our efforts to climb the tech value and specialisation chain.
