though the caption does intentionally carries some extra punch to draw readership.

1)The arab spring is too important to be glossed over., A major conflict in the middle east, though geographically far away from china, has immense ramification for china.

2)We have a number of bigots here including a pino who regularly called me islamo fascist or nazi.

China has a sizable muslim minority and a certain terorist seperatist group which is also supposedly muslim and also tries to solicit help from their coreligionists in the middle east

I have no romantic notion with any nation nor religion except my own but I think the surge in islam in the past few decades is just a symptom of a civilisation in distress and bashing the religion, like some fanatical simpletons would happily do, certainly would just gravitate or heighten the conflict and it's just destructive.

Certainly the last thing we want to see is anti-islam chinese running amok in the neighborhood of chinese muslim communities or religious upheaval in the middle east to spread to parts of china in the name of Allah.

That brings back to the theme of post: Why does a country. egypt, in the midst of a major upheaval in the name of a religion that's known for it's orthodox sexual morality, also have legions of sex maniacs in it's ranks and files of activists? Does it explain the true nature of it's supposedly islamic revolution?
