G 8 is a fading bunch of once powerful and rich western  monarchies and democracies. They are irrelevant as far as China and Russia are concern.  They meet yearly just to feel good . Italy on the g 8 table ? Cmon , that is absurb ,  for they are tethering close to financial collapse.
