WS10 and factory

WS10A under test

522, the J-11 that served as the test platform for WS10, which means one of the engine is WS10.

Su-27SK is simply too crude, no wonder PLAAF is not interested in them once J-11B is ready for production. Now PLAAF can manufacture as many J-11B as it need without dependency on any third party or country. Chinese military place heavy emphasis on self sufficiency to ensure foreign embargo will have little impact on it. Another reason, aside from cost, not to build them in large number like the J-7 is because J-20 is not too far off around the corner. Still, J-11B will definitely remain far more affordable and cost-effective than other Flanker variant especially the MKI.

J-11BS

J-15, ok, not just the PLAAF is flying with WS10.

Naval J-11Bs. Actually the color scheme is very similar to the J-15... Starting to see more of them now.

J-10B

J-20 testing with WS10 variant

Guess this works whether it's up right or upside down.
